Six months of waiting, and there they were. Sitting in front of us, in our size.
We laced them up in an office chair on the factory floor. Stood up. Took a step. Wiggled a foot. They were a bit loose.
This is what a prototype is for. The upper is right, the sole is right, and the fit went on the small list of things to refine.
Six months of waiting to feel them on, and the surprise was a sizing tweak. We will take that.
