Every dance shoe we had bought let us down.
Shoe after shoe. The spin wasn't right. The slide wasn't right. Something was always wrong.
One day Rose said: "Why don't you just make your own?"
So we did.
A good dance shoe has to get four things right at the same time. Comfort. Floor feel. Flexibility. Friction. Plenty of shoes nail one or two. Almost none nail all four.
That is the gap we are working to close.
